Strengths Coaching
Do you know why some things feel completely effortless — and others drain you no matter how hard you try?
The science behind it
Many people spend their careers trying to get better at the things that don't come naturally. Working against the grain without realizing it. Getting results — but at a cost.
It's partly how we're wired. Our brains evolved to scan for what's wrong — threats, risks, gaps. It kept us safe. But a survival mindset and a success mindset are two very different things.
What if the more useful question isn't "what do I need to fix?" but "what am I already wired to do well — and how do I use that purposefully to achieve what matters most?"
That’s not just a different mindset. It's a research-backed approach, developed by renowned psychologist Don Clifton, with decades of evidence behind it –– and it’s the foundation of my approach.
What strengths coaching is
It starts with understanding your unique combination of natural talents — you are unlike anyone else.
The CliftonStrengths® assessment (formerly StrengthsFinder®) reveals them — the specific ways you think, what energizes you, why you perform the way you do, and where you're at your most powerful.
Not a broad personality type. Not a label. A map of who you genuinely are — how your strengths blend, where they give you real power, and where they might occasionally get in your way. No two maps are the same.
Working with that profile, we explore how to apply your strengths deliberately — and how to navigate the moments when they work against you. When you shift to leading from what you’re wired to do well, it redefines your performance, your conviction, and the results you achieve.
If you've ever wondered why you work the way you do — this is for you.
How it works
It begins with a conversation to understand the unique ways you are wired and what you hope to achieve through deeper insight.
Next, you take the CliftonStrengths assessment, and receive your personalized report.
The debrief is where the real work happens — working through your profile together, exploring your natural talents and discovering how to purposefully build on your strengths and apply them in ways that are entirely unique to you.
I do this work because I genuinely believe in it — not just as a methodology, but as a way of helping people understand themselves in ways that actually change how they operate.
My psychology background gives me a different lens on your results — I don't just interpret them, I appreciate the patterns and see the potential that may not be obvious to you.
My Developer strength means I find genuine satisfaction in watching someone excel. My Learner means I went deep on the science before committing to this work — and I bring that same curiosity to understanding every person I work with. And my Individualization means I naturally see what makes you specifically unique. Not a type. Not a category. You.
CliftonStrengths is my chosen lens because the science is solid — and because it gives people a level of self-knowledge that most have never had access to before.
